Literacy

Because being unable to read is true horror

Montréal, June 25 2013. La Maison des viscères expands its fundraising campaign for literacy. The
literary horror publisher puts to auction the original watercolor "Exodes", created by québécois artist Yannick Bouchard. Limited edition reproductions of the watercolor are also available. The watercolor was nominated for the Aurora-Boréal prize 2013 in the "Artistic and audiovideo creation" category.

"We chose alphabetization because we believe that the promotion of reading and writing improves quality of life, declared one of the editors of La Maison des viscères, Frédéric Raymond. Supporting alphabetization is fighting poverty."

People interested in buying the original watercolor can bid in the Ebay auction. The reproductions are available on the website of La Maison des viscères at www.visceres.com. All profits raised will be donated to la Fondation pour l'alphabétisation (Literacy fundation).
